Happy 6th Anniversary to Us!

It is so hard to believe, but Sean and I have been married 6 years. We love to look back fondly on our memories of that very special day celebrated with so many special people - it was so memorable it seems like yesterday! I can remember almost every detail and don't think I could ever forget.

As special as that day was, it doesn't compare to the wonderful marriage we have had. We definitely have experienced our share of downs, but the ups we have experienced - especially the births of Ava and Aidan - have been the real blessing.

I don't want to picture myself going through the rest of my life without Sean - he is my best friend and the one who helps me keep my sanity - most of the times, sometimes he is the cause of it :)

Here's to another 6 and many more - I love you, Husband!

(I did want to post some pics from our wedding day, but don't have many good ones in digital format and we don't have a scanner! Here are some of our favorite pics from our honeymoon in Jamaica. Don't we both look tan, cute, and super YOUNG???)

Katie's Baptism

This past weekend, we helped our dear friends David and Jenny celebrate their daughter Katie's baptism. She was such a good sport and didn't make a peep when the priest poured water on her little noggin.

Here are some of the older kids looking super cute (notice Ava and Ian sitting next to each other - don't they make a cute couple?):

Ava "Suri" Cruise

It appears we have another celebrity look-alike in the family! I have always thought Ava resembled Suri Cruise - only, much prettier of course :)

We think Ava will be discovered by an agent to be cast as Suri in the Lifetime Original movie based on her life with her wacko parents. What do you think?

Saying Farewell to Our Dear Friends

This weekend, we had the very difficult task of having to say goodbye to our friends Ashley, Andy, and baby Jack. They are moving into a beautiful house in their hometown. We didn't want to do it, and we were hoping it wasn't true - but when Ash changed her phone number we knew they really meant it!

We planned a surprise cookout to wish them well. Jenna and I told Ashley that our three families wanted to get together one last time. She TOTALLY bought it, and had no idea we were planning the surprise of inviting her closest friends from here to also come and say goodbye.

I am pretty sure it was a success - before I left Ashley said, "This morning I was worried I wasn't going to see these people before I move, and I came and there they were!"

Although we are SO sad to have to let them go, we all wish them the best of luck on their new adventure. WE LOVE YOU GUYS!!

"At the Car Wash"

One warm weekend, Sean decided he'd like to wash our cars. When the kids caught wind of this, they of course wanted to assist. So we slathered them up with sunscreen, put them in their swimsuits and let them go.

Ava was actually having fun helping Sean wash the cars. Aidan preferred to play with the suds in the bucket and try to run into the street (boys).

It is SO hard to say "no" to this face:
