Sean and I have made it to the zoo just about every year for the past several years. This was an extra special trip, as it was Aidan's first trip ever.
Of course, Ava was absolutely thrilled looking at all the animals. Aidan, on the other hand, was a bit grumpy at first. Eventually he warmed up to it and seemed to enjoy his surroundings.
Although all they did was sleep, Ava maintains the lions were her favorite. A couple other fun moments were the dolphin show, and Ava playing peek-a-boo with the walrus. Towards the end of the trip, Ava played on the playground a bit, we picked up a puzzle for the kids in the gift shop, then enjoyed a picnic lunch before departing.
Can't wait for next year!
